Naperville garage fire causes $30,000 in damage
A garage fire early Tuesday morning caused $30,000 in damage to a Naperville home, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to the call at 6:42 a.m. at the two-story home on the 1000 block of Elizabeth Avenue and arrived to moderate smoke and flames coming from the three-car attached garage, according to a news release from the Naperville Fire Department.
The fire was extinguished within several minutes. No one was injured, and fire officials say the cause of the fire was accidental.
Assisting departments were the Naperville Police Department, ATF, Naperville Building Department, DuPage County Fire Investigation Task Force, and Nicor.
