Central Kane County TRIAD Recognizes Local Business Owner April 26th

The Central Kane County TRIAD will be honoring Gay Vacek at their Spring Senior Safety Academy on April 26th at Sunset Park in Geneva for her continued support of our Kane County seniors. For the last several years, Gay has offered to provide lunches at a significant discount for the Central Kane County Senior Safety Academy presentations. Gay believes in giving back to the community and to the seniors who made it great.

For over 25 years Gay Vacek , her parents Jim and Tima Troiani & family have owned and operated several Subway restaurants in Geneva. Gay is married to Randy Vacek and has two children Emma and Taylor Vacek. Gay has served on the Elderday Center Board for the last 13 years. Elderday Center is an Adult Day care program in Batavia, providing care for seniors.

Central Kane County TRIAD is a cooperative effort between local law enforcement and senior service providers to help reduce senior's fear of crimes by educating them on safety issues in their homes and in the community. TRIAD's purpose is to improve communication and understanding between older adults, law enforcement and senior service providers to address abuse, neglect and exploitation of seniors. TRIAD is a non-profit organization that is supported by local townships and its volunteers.
