• Patrick J. Callender, of Union, was arrested Thursday and charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is accused of walking out of a store on the 800 block of South Randall Road without paying for two digital cameras, according to police reports. Callender was found with Naloxone, two syringes and two clear plastic bags with residue, police said.


• Shots were fired at about 2:20 a.m. April 6 in the vicinity of Park and College streets. Police said officers heard three shots, but were not able to find out where those shots originated.


• Two men were arrested at about 5:30 p.m. Friday after Carpentersville police executed a search warrant on the 5000 block of Breezeland Road, police said.

Brandon Suarez, 18, of the 5000 block of Breezeland Road, was charged with felony possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. A 16-year-old was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
