The couple is being held without bond at the Monroe County Jail on preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent resulting in death and possession of a controlled substance. Both are on probation for previous convictions.

Police says tests show that Wanda Evelynn Lloyd had five times the therapeutic dose of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan in her blood when she died. Investigators said the child had not been prescribed the drug and neither had her parents.
