Lombard President-Elect Giagnorio Seeks Trustee For District 2

LOMBARD, Illinois—Village of Lombard President-elect Keith Giagnorio is wasting no time in seeking a Trustee to fill his former District 2 seat. Giagnorio's tenure as District 2 Trustee will end when he is sworn in as Lombard's new Village President May 2, leaving a vacancy in the District 2 seat.

Resumes and letters of interest of prospective Trustee 2 candidates will be accepted by Giagnorio through April 24 at noon. Interested applicants must be a registered voter and resident in the Village for one year prior to being appointed and a resident of District 2 for at least six months. Applicants may not be in arrears of payment of any tax or other indebtedness to the Village and they must not have been convicted in any U.S. court of any felony.

“This appointment is important to the residents of District 2,” Giagnorio stated. “Their ideas and concerns need to be represented on the Board of Trustees without delay,” he added.

All interested applications must be received at the Village Hall, Village President's Office, before the noon deadline April 24. Resumes may be sent to Giagnorio by email at giagnoriok@villageoflombard.org, dropped off at Village Hall or mailed to the Village Hall, Attn: President-Elect Keith Giagnorio, 255 E. Wilson, Lombard, IL 60148.
