Cary-Grove's Efflandt no-hits Buffalo Grove

Cary-Grove senior Lindsay Efflandt threw her second no-hitter of the season Thursday, this one a complete game seven-inning 1-0 nonconference win over Buffalo Grove.

Efflandt (5-0) struck out 13 and walked 1 while facing the minimum 21 batters.

Sarah Leudo walked in the second inning and later scored on a single from Caitlyn Adams for the game's only run. Cary-Grove (6-0) had only 2 hits in the game.
