About this Article

Two fires broke out Thursday morning in Wheaton -- one in a science storage room at Wheaton North High School and one a block south at a house on Armbrust Avenue, authorities said. The fire at the school began before the school day started at 7:20 a.m. and was put out by the sprinkler system, according to a message Erica Loiacono, spokeswoman for Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200, sent to Wheaton North parents.
