Children’s museum fundraiser:
Busy Brains Children’s Museum hosts its 4th annual “Brain Builder 2013: Mingle at the Mansion” on Saturday, May 4, from 7 to 11 p.m., at Lehmann Mansion, 485 N. Milwaukee Ave., Lake Villa. A cash bar, silent auction and 50/50 raffle will be offered. Proceeds from the event support Busy Brains in its effort to open Lake County’s first children’s museum. Volunteer opportunities for the May 4 event are available, along with openings on Busy Brains committees, and at community events. Tickets for Brain Builder 2013 are available via the Busy Brains website at www.busybrains.org or by calling (224) 381-0138.
