Jake LaFrenz went 2-for-3 and scored 3 runs and Jacob Koehring doubled and scored twice. Scott Palmer notched the win by tossing 6 innings of 3-hit ball with 6 strikeouts and 6 walks.

He walked 3 and struck out 2.
Westminster swept: The Warriors dropped both ends of a split doubleheader in Elgin, losing to Aurora Christian 7-5 in the morning and 10-4 to Ottawa Marquette in the afternoon game. Luke Weston went the distance and absorbed the loss against Aurora Christian. He was touched for 7 runs (5 earned) on 10 hits, walked 2 and struck out 2.
