Conant goes 2-1 at Glenbrook South

Conant notched one-sided wins over Glenbrook South and Lincoln-Way West but dropped a 1-goal outcome to Hindsdale Central in boys water polo tournament play hosted by Glenbrook South on Saturday.

Jon Burke had 4 goals and Kyle Bradberry had 3 while goalie Aly Ahmed stopped 5 shots, including a penalty shot, in a 12-4 victory over the host Titans.

Conant's Devin Schmitz and Brennan Nagorzanski had 2 goals apiece to lead the way in a 9-5 victory over Lincoln-Way West.

Against Hinsdale Central, Burke scored twice and Ahmed made 5 saves, but the Cougars were on the short end of a 5-4 score.
