Nina Weiss' Highland Park Art Endeavors studio to Host Event for K9 Reading Buddies of the North Shore

Acclaimed Highland Park artist Nina Weiss will host an event on Sunday, April 21 from 11:00 AM, to 12: 15 PM on behalf of K9 Reading Buddies at her Highland Park Art Endeavors studio at 3150 Skokie Highway (Route 41) Suite #12. A percentage of all art sales during the event will be donated.

K9 Reading Buddies is a not-for-profit corporation that supplements literacy programs using reading teams consisting of certified therapy dogs and qualified handlers to strengthen reading skills while boosting confidence.

Ms Weiss has served as adjunct professor at the School if the Art Institute of Chicago for fifteen years, and currently teaches at Columbia College Chicago, the Evanston Art Center, the NorthShore Art League, and the Chicago Botanic Gardens. She travels to Europe with students each summer for her European Landscape Workshops.

Her work has appeared at leading galleries and are included in several prominent corporate art collections.
