Best candidate for Wheaton council

  • Article
text size: AAA

We are writing to urge the residents of Wheaton's North District to re-elect Phil Suess on Tuesday. Phil is clearly the best choice to represent Wheaton's residents. Phil's financial expertise, calm demeanor and independent, reasoned approach have benefited Wheaton's taxpayers. The city has not increased taxes in three years, has cut spending and has attained an Aaa bond rating. Phil has emphasized increased spending on infrastructure, including the North Main Street flood project, which starts this May. Private economic development is increasing with over $100 million in new projects under way in the past year.

We need to maintain continuity and experience on the city council. Now is not the time to introduce inexperience or special interests. Experience and results matter. Phil's intellect, integrity and goodwill is a testimony to his commitment to all citizens of Wheaton. Please join us and vote for Phil. He is the best candidate.
