Kane County

Brandon J. Durham, 32, of the 1700 block of Richard Road, Aurora, was charged with violation of an order of protection at 10:55 p.m. Saturday after he went to the victim' residence in the 1600 block of Reckinger Road near Aurora, according to a sheriff's report.

Someone broke open the tailgate of a pickup truck belonging to an Addison electrical firm between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8:25 p.m. Sunday and stole several drills, bits, batteries, voltage meters and other equipment, according to a sheriff's report. The work truck was parked in the 35W300 block of Elmwood Avenue near St. Charles.

Someone pulled a mailbox post out of the ground in the 2S300 block of Sunset Drive near Batavia between 7 a.m. March 23 and 1:44 p.m. Saturday, causing an estimated $150 damage, according to a sheriff's report.

Someone kicked a storm door of a home in the 2100 block of Pleasure View Road near Aurora between 9 a.m. March 26 and 6 a.m. March 27, breaking the glass on the storm door, according to a sheriff's report.
