Electronics recycling volunteers sought:
Long Grove is seeking volunteers for its annual electronics recycling collection from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13. Volunteers are needed for heavy lifting, as well as unloading lighter items. Volunteers start at 7:30 a.m. and will finish by noon. Contact Karen at ktschmitt@aol.com or (847) 438-0399. Almost anything with a plug, except refrigerators or air conditioners, will be accepted during the event in the Archer parking lot, Robert Parker Coffin and Old McHenry roads in downtown Long Grove. Donations of nonperishable food items for one of the local food pantries also will be accepted.
