Only Republican in nonpartisan race

Jake "Wayne" Wyatt is running for the office of St. Charles mayor. He's the best candidate. The only Republican in this nonpartisan race. Served his nation and serving his community. Jake's a lifelong resident, save for seven years as a child, Batavia. Jake is easy to talk to, likable, warm and genuinely interested in others.

Recently, a St. Charles alderman told me that after meeting Jake four times, he feels as if he's known him all his life. We need that positive, welcoming, open spirit in our new leader. It has been sorely missing for many years. Besides compassion and Christian humility, we need skill, objectivity, discernment and experience-not sound bite promises that cannot be delivered. Jake is prepared to roll up his sleeves, bridge the gap between ideas and consensus to implementation. No quid pro quo. Decisive, fair, transparent. A promise made will be a promise kept.

Come to the American Legion from 9:30 a.m. to noon on the Saturdays before the election. Meet Jake. It will be a new day in St Charles, with your vote.
