Rollover crash closes Arlington Heights roadway

An accident involving a vehicle rollover Saturday shutdown the roadway near West Central Road and South New Wilke Road in Arlington Heights for about 30 minutes.
Arlington Heights police said the collision occurred as a vehicle was broadsided while trying to make a left-hand turn at about 5:30 p.m. The impact of the collision rolled the turning vehicle onto its side. The two drivers involved in the incident were both transported to Northwest Community Hospital with minor injuries, police said. The investigation into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing. The roadway was reopened to traffic at about 6 p.m.
