Body recovered from Salt Creek in Addison

Addison Fire Protection officials confirmed that a dead body was recovered Thursday afternoon from Salt Creek.
Authorities said firefighters recovered the body of an unidentified male at 3:45 p.m. near the corner of Lake Street and Villa Avenue.
A team of firefighters went into the water and pulled out the body, which was then turned over to the DuPage County coroner.
Law enforcement officials were unable to provide further information, and the coroner could not be reached by phone.
