Aldi ranked fifth among companies with most loyal fans

Batavia-based Discount grocer Aldi USA ranked fifth on a list of the top 20 companies with the most loyal fans.

The survey was conducted by LoudDoor, a Facebook insights preferred marketing developer. Other companies ranked in the top five include Google, Facebook and Walt Disney World. No other grocery retailer was included on the list, which tracks every major brand on Facebook and how likely those brands’ fans are to recommend them to friends or colleagues.

Aldi launched its Facebook page in July 2012 and has gained more than 363,000 fans to date, with new fans liking the page every day. The Aldi USA Facebook Page can be found at www.facebook.com/Aldi.usa. It offers fans an opportunity to engage with the company and find information about Aldi exclusive brands, store openings, special buys and more.

“We’re honored that the trust our customers have in Aldi to deliver the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices has created such tremendous loyalty,” said Jason Hart, president, Aldi USA. “Smart shoppers know they can save time and money at Aldi without sacrificing quality. It’s their word-of-mouth support that has fueled our significant growth in recent years.”

Aldi exclusive brands are manufactured by many of the nation’s leading food companies and must meet or exceed the quality and taste of the national name brands. Aldi is so confident in the high quality of its products that all Aldi food products are backed by a Double Guarantee: If for any reason a customer is not 100 percent satisfied with any Aldi food product, Aldi will replace the product and refund the purchase price.
