"The goal of the renovations is to provide safe, modern, and unique play experiences to enhance the recreational opportunities in these two vibrant neighborhoods," said Paul Cathey, superintendent of parks and planning.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the David L. Markworth Boardroom at the Administrative and Leisure Center, 2222 Birch St., Des Plaines. Park district staff will be available to review the designs and amenities for both parks, and answer questions. The public can review two design concepts for each park on the park district website DPParks.org. A comment page will be provided for residents unable to attend.
