Streamwood, South Elgin, Bartlett net wins

Tawny Carroll and Kim Jimenez scored goals Monday as the Streamwood girls soccer team defeated Rolling Meadows 2-0 in the South Elgin tournament.

Lilly Orozco and Carroll had the assists for the Sabres (1-0-1) and Nathalie Guindon made 3 saves in goal.

South Elgin 8, Elgin 0: Julie Greco and Alena Ignatev had 2 goals each to lead the Storm (3-0-1) to a win in the South Elgin tournament. Delaney Kelleher, Andrea Walsh, Jan Salas and Caitlin Lange also scored for South Elgin, with Walsh and Alyssa Shipon each contributing 2 assists. Jourdan Vaulkner and Jackie DeLaMora split time in goal but weren't called on to make any saves.

Bartlett 3, Dundee-Crown 1: Shannon Brohan, Nicole Berg and Josie Dombrowski scored the goals for the Hawks in this win at the South Elgin tournament. Dombrowski also had an assist and Amanda Lozada made 6 saves in goal for Bartlett (3-3). Jordan Fryer scored off an assist from Alyssa Moreno for the Chargers' only score. Isabel Miranda had 4 saves in goal for D-C (0-4).
