Man accused of killing pigs now faces porn charges
BLOOMINGTON — A central Illinois man charged earlier this month with torturing and killing pigs has been accused of child pornography and sexual abuse.
The (Bloomington) Pantagraph reports (http://bit.ly/ZJVdC5 ) Quentin Getty was charged with soliciting and disseminating pornographic images of a minor girl with whom he was acquainted. He's also accused of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
The 22-year-old from Arrowsmith has been in custody on charges he shot two pigs with a crossbow and then slit the animals' throats. Authorities found evidence of the pigs in the trunk of his vehicle.
Getty was on probation for shooting a cow with a crossbow in 2010 and has also been charged with residential burglary for a Dec. 27 break-in.
He was being held on $100,025 bail and could not be reached for comment.
