Schaumburg Park District Board honored the local education community at March meeting

Schaumburg Park District Board of Commissioners recognized Schaumburg Community Consolidated School District 54, Township High School District 211, Harper College and the home school community for being outstanding educational partners during the past fifty years at the March 14 Park Board Meeting at the Jerry Handlon Administration Building, 235 E. Beech Drive.

The District's education partners have supported joint programming efforts and encouraged children, young adult and families of the community to use services of the District. The education community also promotes health and fitness for youth and young adults.

Schaumburg Park District Park Board meets at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of every month at the Jerry Handlon Administration Building. The District will honor an organization each month during its fiftieth anniversary. The next meeting on April 11 will honor the Schaumburg Boomers Baseball Team.
