Wheeling Township candidate event Thursday
League of Women Voters will host a meet and greet for the Republican and Democratic candidates running for Wheeling Township positions at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Arlington Heights Historical Society, 110 West Fremont, in Arlington Heights.
Each candidate is invited to make a 3-minute introductory statement. After the statements the meeting will adjourn and candidates will meet with members of the audience. The event remains open until 9 p.m. for refreshments and conversation.
Eight candidates from each party are running for positions that include supervisor, assessor, clerk, highway commissioner and trustee. This event is free and open to the community. For more information, visit www.lwvah.org or call Judith 847-259-5838.
