Keep experience, knowledge at CLC

  • Article
text size: AAA

I am a Trustee at Parkland College in Champaign and am the immediate Past President of the Illinois Community College Trustees Association. I have known Barb Oilschlager for 24 years, who is running for re-election to the board of trustees of the College of Lake County, on both the state and national levels.

She has been a member of the CLC Board of Trustees for 24 years and has worked in the field of education at all levels for over 30 years. She has served on state workforce boards under three different governors for 16 years. She is the past president of the Illinois Association for Career and Technical Education and has received their Central States Leadership Award as well as the Carl D. Perkins Humanitarian Award.

We need to keep her on the CLC board because she has the background, experience and knowledge to help keep the quality and delivery of education to the highest standards possible. She has a proven record of excellence and she deserves your vote on April 9.

Please join me in supporting Barbara D. Oilschlager for re-election to the College of Lake County board of trustees.

James L. Ayers
