Alfred Campanelli YMCA Charity Gala at The Stonegate Banquet and Conference Centre

If you have ever dreamed of walking the red carpet like a real Hollywood star, this is your chance to experience all the glamour and glitz of Hollywood! Cost of a ticket, which includes hors d’oeuvres, open bar, a hand-crafted gourmet dinner, French pastry dessert buffet, and an evening of dancing to the one and only Al Sofia Orchestra--is $150 per ticket or $250 per couple.

The charity gala is a major source of funding for the YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged children and families to participate in life-enriching Y programs and services. The Y’s charitable mission is to never turn anyone away for an inability to pay. During 2011-2012 Campanelli Y provided over $118,000 in financial assistance to people of all ages that needed our help. Every day Campanelli Y is a vital part of the greater Schaumburg community; a welcoming place for everyone to learn new skills, connect with others, and access support in times of need.

The success of the charity gala is imperative for the Campanelli Y to continue meeting the needs of families struggling to make ends meet in this downturned economy. “We want to educate people that we are more than a place to go to exercise or swim, but an organization that does vital work thanks to the support of the community at Campanelli Y, said Judi Nealey, Director of Development at Campanelli Y. “The Y contributes to improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods through a variety of ways that benefit all of us who live and work in Schaumburg.”

So gather your entourage and come dressed to the nines to join us for an evening of Hollywood elegance and philanthropy! Attire is Black Tie optional. This is an event you surely will not want to miss! Purchase tickets by visiting by contacting Judi Nealey, YMCA Director of Development at 847.891.9622, ext. 111 or visit www.campanelliymca.org.
