The American Cancer Society awarded its prestigious Chairmanís Award for Volunteerism to the local volunteers who spearheaded the DuPage Regionís Onboarding for Success campaign, at the Societyís recent statewide volunteer conference in Chicago.
With the Chairmanís Award, the American Cancer Society honors the stateís top volunteers who lead the fundraising, partnerships and volunteer efforts that make the American Cancer Society mission possible.
The DuPage Regional Board, led by Vice Chair Tyler Prince, developed an orientation program for new board members that allowed volunteers to quickly and easily become acquainted with the Societyís mission, programs and services.
