Eight Chicago-area high schools have been picked to participate in Comcast's 3rd annual Battle of the Fans Madness tournament.
Each school was selected based on the excitement and enthusiasm its student section showed during appearances on the CN100 Game of the Week during the 2012-13 basketball season.
The eight-school field includes (in alphabetical order): Dundee-Crown, Maine South, Marist, Mundelein, Naperville North, Neuqua Valley, St. Patrick High School and 2011 champion Warren.
Over the next two weeks, these eight student sections will compete to see which one best represented its school for the CN100 cameras. Based on voting results, the field will be narrowed down after each week-long round of voting.
First round voting runs March 11-17 and the tournament concludes with Final Four voting March 18-24. Cast your vote on the CN100 website - www.cn100.tv. Winners will be announced on the Battle of the Fan's Facebook page. You can see all of 2012-13 basketball season battles on our YouTube page.
The 2013 Battle of the Fans Madness champion will be crowned on March 25, with the best student section receiving a special Battle of the Fans banner to display proudly as a testament to your school spirit.
It only takes a few clicks to support your student section, so please share this with your school community and encourage them to vote.
