WCI Fashion Show To Benefit Local Charities and Scholarships

The Women's Club of Inverness is proud to announce it will present its annual Fashion Show and Luncheon Benefit “A Waterfall of Fashion in Grand Majestic Style” on Friday, April 12. Profits from this event directly benefit local charitable organizations and the WCI Scholarship Program.

The fundraiser will be held at the Stonegate Conference and Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event welcomes the public to one of the premiere fashion shows in the Chicago area! Join the club for a fabulous preview of 2013's spring fashion collections, delectable luncheon, silent auction and raffles. The cost for the luncheon and show is $70. Reservations are required. WCI is proud to feature collections from top designers in the Chicago area as well as a selection of fashions from students in Harper College's Fashion Design program. Once again, ZZAZZ Productions will showcase cutting-edge trends from retailers and the latest in fashion silhouettes from Chicago's top designers. Headed by Tracy Tarantino, this professional runway show offers a presentation with cutting-edge sound and lighting design.

Members of the Women's Club of Inverness are welcome from all communities! WCI embodies the strength of women dedicated to supporting various philanthropic endeavors and promoting cultural and educational activities in our community. WCI is a philanthropic 501(c) (3) organization. All profits from our benefits are distributed to local community-based organizations and scholarship grants to graduating seniors, college students and returning adults residing within the boundaries of School Districts 211 and 220. The Club's members also donate and send items to United States soldiers and canines in Iraq and Afghanistan.

In recent years more than 25 local charitable organizations have benefitted from donations by WCI. The group is especially committed to aiding women and children's advocacy organizations, as well as senior citizen, at-risk youth, and family service centers. In the past three years, the club has donated more than $91,000 to agencies and community-based organizations and awarded $46,000 in scholarships.
