Sisters of the Living Word elect new leadership team

The Sisters of the Living Word, Arlington Heights, announced the election of their new leadership team on Sunday, Feb. 10. Sister Sharon Glumb was chosen official representative to the Church and leadership team member, Sister Kathleen Heer and Sister Kristine Vorenkamp were elected as leadership team members. Their installation will take place in June and each will serve a five-year term.

Sister Kristine presently works for the Archdiocese of Chicago in immigration ministry. A resident of Arlington Heights, she formerly worked in the Hispanic Ministry at Mision San Juan Diego, Arlington Heights.

Sister Sharon is presently director of Campus Ministry for the Diocese of Memphis. Sister Kathleen is an art therapist with autistic elementary schoolchildren at St. Julie Billiart School in the Diocese of Cleveland. Both Sister Sharon and Sister Kathleen have ministered in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
