ESSE Adult Day Services Celebrated Valentine's Day With Local Preschoolers

Val Gaede and the 4 and 5 year old Preschoolers from St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton celebrated Valentine's Day with the seniors at ESSE Adult Day Center in Wheaton. The seniors enjoyed the children's songs, treats and companionship. Intergenerational visits, entertainment, pet visits, and anyone interested in spending some time assisting with activities are most welcome!

Adult Day Care serves the frail, moderately handicapped and socially isolated adults while offering much needed respite for their caregivers. ESSE has the ability to offer a safe nurturing environment enabling adults to participate in cognitive and physical activities throughout the day. Day Care delays placement into long term care facilities and allows the older adult to remain within the family structure longer at a cost of approximately 25% of the typical long term care facility.
