Funeral arrangements have been set for former Naperville Mayor Chester "Chet" Rybicki.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. March 15 at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. The funeral service will be at 12:15 p.m. March 16 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville.
In lieu of flowers, Rybicki's family has requested memorials to Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry, 1871 High Grove Lane, Naperville, IL 60540.
The two-term mayor, credited with co-founding the Riverwalk and fostering the city's booming downtown in the early 1980s, died Wednesday after a long illness.
