GOP out of touch on same sex marriage

In regards to some Republicans’ desire to have Pat Brady resign as GOP chairman because of his backing of same sex marriage: Our state is bleeding in debt and this is what you spend your time on? Stop interfering with people’s personal lives and do your jobs. With civil unions legal, same sex marriage is not going to have any negative effect on anyone — especially the out-of-touch white male politicians who are fighting it.

As a 55-year-old female, I vote independent, but I haven’t voted Republican for years because of stands like this one.
