Iconic perennial favorites as well as unexpected surprises will be represented in a variety of 17th, 18th, 19th and early-20th century antiques at the March 9-10, 2013 Spring Fox Valley Antiques Show and Sale in St. Charles.

The show's theme, "Blooming Antiques", highlights the use of flowers as time-tested embellishments on furnishings and decorative accessories throughout the centuries.

At this semi-annual show, antiques gathered, researched and authenticated by 57 carefully-chosen, invitation-only dealers from 14 states will be offered for sale indoors at the bright and spacious Kane County Fairgrounds' Prairie Events Center.

Catered lunch with comfortable seating is available and there is plenty of free parking.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles. Enter on Randall Road between routes 38 and 64.

A nonprofit organization, admission of $8 benefits local historical and educational organizations. Discount coupons are available on the CSADA website at www.csada.com.

Produced by the Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association, the show celebrates our heritage by collaborating with its sponsor, Garfield Farm Museum in LaFox. This museum is the only surviving, historically-intact Illinois farmstead being restored as a working 1840's living-history farm and inn, a true asset for teaching American history.

Connect with others who love antiques and history. Share knowledge and exchange stories. Networking with members and dealers at the Chicago Suburban Antiques Dealers Association's Fox Valley Antiques Show is always welcome and often yields surprising results.
