‘Conflict Zone’

Adrianna Gomez of Addison checks out photos in "Conflict Zone," a multimedia exhibit of images and video from the front lines of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan at the First Division Museum at Cantigny Park in Wheaton. "The exhibit is about Iraq and Afghanistan and that supports our mission of telling a continuing story of the First Division experience," said Jaron Keener, exhibit specialist. The exhibit, which runs until April 14, has 59 photos taken by award-winning photojournalists who were embedded with units post-9/11.

The video that is shown was raw footage taken by Jeff Newton with a helmet cam and was used for a segment that aired on "60 Minutes."

Jackie Spinner, co-director of the exhibit and a former Baghdad bureau chief for The Washington Post, will appear at the First Division Museum´s "talk back" event at 7 p.m. March 14.
