One of the seven Republican state central committeemen who signed a letter last week calling for a special meeting to consider ousting party Chair Pat Brady is being strongly considered to replace him. Tenth District Committeeman Mark Shaw of Lake Forest is being suggested as an interim chairman if Brady, a St. Charles resident, is removed over his support for same-sex marriage.
