About this Article

Audiences will be singing along to such hits as "We Go Together," "Greased Lightning," and "Summer Nights" this weekend, when students from South Elgin High School stage their spring musical, "Grease." Director Carrie Crowe says the universal theme is one of the reasons for its popularity. “While set in the 1950s, ‘Grease’ is really a musical about the struggles and rebellions that most teenagers experience,” Crowe said.
