'A Taste of Sicily' comes to Roselle library

The sights and flavors of the Mediterranean's largest island will be highlighted in “A Taste of Sicily” from 1:30-3 p.m., Sunday, March 3 at the Roselle Public Library, 40 S. Park St., Roselle.

Travelers Susan Miura and Patt Nicholls will present a virtual west to east tour, beginning with Sicily's capital, Palermo, and culminating with the mountainside town of Taormina.

Attendees will see beautiful slides of ancient ruins, Mt. Etna, the 2,000 year old Greek Theatre, the Valley of Temples, ornate cathedrals and breathtaking scenery.

A selection of Italian treats will be served as a snack, and Sicilian foods will be featured along with the popular sites.
