Family-owned business breaks ground on new jewelry store

Chicago, IL, Dec 10, 2012 -- Burdeen's Jewelry – a luxury jeweler well-known for their one-of-a-kind jewelry design, luxury watches, and exemplary service, located in Buffalo Grove, a suburb of Chicago – will officially break ground for their new store to be located at 1151 W. Lake Cook Road in Buffalo Grove on Dec. 13, 2012 .

2013 will mark the 33rd anniversary for Burdeen's and the 30th anniversary of their first store opening. The new 6,000-square-foot store will feature an outdoor sitting area, private viewing rooms, new displays, waiting areas and other amenities.

Matt Burdeen, owner and a Graduate Gemologist, is looking forward to the completion of the new store in the spring. “We are extraordinarily proud to be building a new store that will provide an elegant space for our clients to shop, continuing our commitment to provide the most discriminating client the luxury of high quality jewelry selection with fair pricing, and unequivocal service.”

The new store property was purchased from and adjacent to PNC Bank. “We welcome our new neighbor and we are very excited to see retail and business growth in the Buffalo Grove, IL community” said PNC Bank Manager Tammi Malinowski .
