OMG, You Guys. . .It's My First Grade Students In Conant's Legally Blonde!

Retired 1st Grade Teacher Mindy Jones couldn't believe her eyes when she read the Daily Herald story on the Conant High School production of Legally Blonde The Musical.

“When I saw Carly and Jeremy's names in the Herald story, I immediately called my teaching partner Julie Gorvett and we made plans to go see the show!” said Mrs. Jones.

Carly Gurrieri (Elle – left-top) and Jeremy Gentry (Emmett – right-bottom) were classmates in the 1st Grade at Nerge Elementary, now they are the leads in the Conant production that continues this Friday and Saturday for three more shows. Jones and Gorvett (now a District 54 Instructional Mentor) definitely plan to reunite in the audience.

Based on the hit movie, James B. Conant High School presents…Legally Blonde The Musical. It's the story of California sorority girl, Elle Woods who doesn't take "no" for an answer and finds that being true to yourself never goes out of style. An all-singing, all-dancing, feel good musical comedy, Legally Blonde is “one Elle of a show!”
