About this Article

Sixth-grade students in a new Science, Technology, Engineering and Math class at Glen Crest Middle School not only learned how water purfication systems worked this year, they gained a new appreciation for how precious safe, clean drinking water is. The students are finishing up their unit on water by collecting doantions for The Water Project, which drills wells in Third World communities without access to clean water.
