Arlington Hts. orthodontist promotes dental education.

Orthodontist Dr. Yarmolyuk held a “Hygiene Night” – a lecture and dinner for local hygienists and dentists – at his practice Orthodontic Experts Ltd. in Arlington Heights Illinois. Twenty dental hygienists and three dentists from neighboring dental practices attended this educational event. Guest speaker George Martinez from 3M Unitek presented a lecture “Oral Health is your Body's First Defense against Disease”. Attendees received 2 continuing education credits and had an opportunity to tour Dr. Yarmolyuk's office and meet him and his staff. The event was sponsored by one of the top orthodontic product manufacturers Unitek, a division of 3M company.

“We've had an enjoyable evening”, said Dr. Yarmolyuk. “Local dentists and hygienists responded to our invitation with a great deal of enthusiasm. Our guests have specifically remarked on the informative lecture and warm atmosphere of the night”.

Dr. Yarmolyuk plans to organize more events of this kind in the future. He finds it very beneficial for an orthodontic specialist to discuss current developments in the field of dentistry and orthodontics with the dental professionals. Dr. Yarmolyuk also considers it important to provide dental professionals with practical and useful updates regarding orthodontic evaluation and treatment.
