St. Charles East to host P-ARTS Variety Show

St. Charles East High School talent will perform at the 10th annual P-ARTS Variety Show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road, St. Charles.

Tickets at the door are $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. For details, contact Christina Martens at cmartens2@ameritech.net.

Participants are East High students from the Classes of 2013, ’14, ’15 and ’16. The show includes a juggler, magic act, ukulele players, the varsity drill team, and singers, dancers and instrumentalists of all genres, with many presenting original compositions.

P-ARTS Variety Show performers are Berke Bearrick, Brynn Beveridge, Jessica Blakely, Emma and Annabelle Cuitino, Lexie El-Sherif, Allison Griffiths, Nadia and Mara Handler, Ashley Luoma, Rachel Martens, Kali McElroy, Grover Neville, Samantha Perez, Jon Recchia, Kaylee Riegler, Kelsie Roberton, Mary Alice Roach, Arman Sangalang, Sriya Siems and Becca Willaert. Emcees are Gianna Marchese and Erin Gautille.

Celebrating its 10th year, the show is one of the major fundraisers for P-ARTS, East High School’s arts advocacy and booster club. In addition to the variety show, P-ARTS provides grants to St. Charles East’s humanities department and the visiting artists program, and provides scholarships for P-ARTS members to summer art camps, colleges and for a range of other activities.
