Hawks tickets? Dig deep, because they’ll cost you
The good news: The red-hot Blackhawks play at the United Center three of the next four nights.
The not so good news: They’ve had 196 consecutive sellouts.
The really not so good news: Tickets are few and prices are in the stratosphere.
The Hawks host San Jose Friday, Columbus Sunday and Edmonton Monday. Plenty of websites sell tickets. Or you can call (800) 745-3000 or just go to the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St.
At vividseats.com, you’ll pay between $96 and $158 for tonight’s game. Sunday’s game tickets range from $48 to $96, and Monday’s tickets are between $63 and $73.
At stubhub.com, you can get two seats tonight in the Upper Level Goal for $2,222. Two tickets on the glass go for $1,120. Tickets to see Edmonton start at $17 and go as high as $1,118 for two on the glass.
If you can pass as a high school student and can come up with a B-average on a report card, you can enter the “B-Better for Blackhawks” lottery. The University of Phoenix is giving away seven tickets per game.
Good luck.
