Burglaries reported in Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect police are warning residents to be vigilant after several residential burglaries were reported.

Burglaries took place in the evening hours between Feb. 13 and Feb. 16 in the neighborhoods bordered by Central Road, Golf Road, Main Street and Meier Road.

Police encourage people to lock windows and doors and to leave lights and the television on when they're gone.

Anyone with any information about the burglaries is encouraged to call the Mount Prospect Police Department at (847) 870-5654 or the Crime Stoppers line at (847) 590-7867.
