‘World of Whimsy’ on display in Bartlett

Arts in Bartlett presents a new exhibit at the Bartlett Village Hall Gallery. The February exhibit is by artist Brittany Pignataro, titled “World of Whimsy.” The exhibit is on display 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday through Feb. 28, at the Village of Bartlett 2nd floor Art Gallery, 228 Main St, Bartlett.

Brittany Pignataro graduated from the American Academy of Art with a bachelor’s degree in fine art, specializing in illustration. She is currently working at Color My World Art Studio teaching children art classes and freelancing.

Pignataro grew up inspired by the bright, fun images she saw in children books. After a childhood of coloring and drawing she is now doing what she loves. She creates expressive, playful and whimsical art for all ages to enjoy. Her goal is to have her viewers peek into different worlds filled with color and movement.

The public is invited to attend a reception to meet the artist from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
