Forgot the tally in United States

Forgot the tally in United States

Victor M. LaPorte's letter in the Fence Post dated Jan. 27 said that in the 20th century more than 56 million defenseless people were exterminated by people using gun control. He listed the countries and the number of people killed.

He forgot to add one other country, the United States. Since 1973 with the governments sponsorship, support and financial approval, we have killed over 54.5 million defenseless people, although unborn, nonetheless American citizens. This is almost as many as the six countries you mentioned. We kill about 3,288 per day. Picture 3,200 people standing in front of a pit being machine gunned, and repeated every day. We would be horrified at that, but because some people, including our politicians, call it choice, it somehow is acceptable to some, certainly not all.

Now if our government can approve the killing of 54.4 million without gun control, anyone want to guess what that number will be with gun control?
