It took two extra periods but the Warriors (10-12, 3-7) pulled out a West Suburban Gold victory in Villa Park behind a 29-point performance from Yash Trent and Tiger Greene’s 27 points.
Glenbard North 67, Lake Park 58:
Chip Flanigan’s 22 points led the way for the Panthers (9-12) in their nonconference win over the Lancers (14-10). Pasquale Fiduccia and Kendall Holbert scored 13 points each for Glenbard North. Jake Ktsanes poured in a game-high 25 points for Lake Park. Sean Moore scored 12 points and Mikey Van Aswegen added 11 for the Lancers.
Hinsdale Central 56, Lyons Twp. 43:
The Red Devils (16-5, 9-1) moved a step closer to the West Suburban Silver title thanks to 26 points from Matt Rafferty.
IC Catholic Prep 58, Aquin 55:
Balanced scoring was the key to victory for the visiting Knights (19-5). Demetrius Carr paced them with 16 points. Sean Sutton scored 14 points and Clark Brinkman scored 13 points.
