Gallery Theater of West Chicago has announced audition dates for its upcoming spring production of "Over the River and Through the Woods" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 and Thursday, Feb. 21. Callbacks, if necessary, will be on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m.

"Over the River and Through the Woods," by Joe DiPietro, is an endearing comedy about Nick, a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey who shares Sunday dinner each week with both sets of grandparents. When Nick intends to move to Seattle for his dream job as a marketing executive, the news does not sit well with his grandparents and they begin a series of schemes to keep Nick around. Frank, Aida, Nunzio and Emma do their level best and that includes a dinner invitation with the lovely -- and single -- Caitlin O'Hare as bait!
