The 11th annual Arts Festival, produced by Arts in Bartlett, will be from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 29 and 30, in Bartlett Park. The juried arts festival offers the work of returning and new artists in a wide range of 2-D and 3-D media, including paintings, photography, fiber, sculpture, glass, jewelry, wood and more. The deadline for artist applications is April 1. Application are available on the 2013 Arts Festival page, www.artsinbartlett.org.
The entertainment stage will feature local and area musicians and dance on both days. Food vendors and a wine/beer tent will provide refreshments. Children's art activities in the gazebo will be provided by Color My World Art Studio. Other events include drumming circles and henna art in the World Tent. A special "kids only" tent is for children shoppers, who can purchase art priced from $1-$5, in the Young Art Appreciators tent. Proceeds will benefit Arts in Bartlett scholarships and other arts education programs.
Sponsorships are now available to help support the Arts Festival. Information on ads and sponsorships can be downloaded from www.artsinbartlett.org, the 2013 Arts Festival page. Sponsorships are due by May 1.
