Don’t misquote Bible on homosexuality

  • Article
text size: AAA

In the "I don't to I do" column, a "theologian" was listed as one who supports gay marriage. Let's be very clear about this. The Bible-based Judeo-Christian religion has always taught and in fact still teaches that homosexual activity is a grave sin and offends God. Also, the writer acknowledges that a child has a right to and benefits most from a loving mother and father, but then continues a "welcome shift" in logic that somehow allows gay couples to raise children. Let's face it, support for the traditional family should be the focus of our society.
